Canada: December 28, 2013. (PCP) The funeral services of Shadab Khokhar, a prominent leader of Pakistani Christian Diaspora, will be performed on December 30, 2013, in Brampton, Ontario, in which Christians mourners from Canada and USA will participate in large number. Mr. Shadab Khokhar who was Founder and President International Christian AWAZ Canada and Founder member of Canadian Christian Association passed away on Christmas Eve December 24th 2013. Over decade, Mr. Shadab Khokhar was loud voice of persecuted Christians in Pakistan on Canadian and International Forums and his last event of continuous struggle was a speech in Toronto protest against massacre of All Saint Church, Kohati Gate Peshawar on September 22, 2013, in which he re-committed his commitment for rights of Christians in Pakistan. He was the husband of Dolly Khokhar, loving father of Christopher, Kenneth, and Christina Khokhar, Caring brother to the late Ch. Kenneth Khokhar Sr., and Christopher Khokhar Sr., and son of late Ch. Emanuel Khokhar and late Margaret Khokhar. The visitation service will be held on December 29th 2013 at Meadowvale Cemetery at 7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON from 6-9pm. The funeral service will be held on December 30th 2013 at St. Jerome’s Roman-Catholic Church located at 8530 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON and held at 10am.
