Peshawar: November 21, 2013. (PCP) The fear spread among Christians of Peshawar when unidentified attackers opened fired and killed a policeman who was guarding gate of Church.
There were no worshipers in Church on time of firing but police constable Atta Ullah who was deployed to guard Church received bullet and died on spot. The attackers took away official rifle of Constable Atta Ullah and fled away from scene.
The firing incident took place in Swati Gate of Peshawar city on Assembly of God Church where hundreds of Christian worshipers gather every Sunday and on other religious eves but fortunately no one was present in Church on November 19, 2013, on time of attack.
On September 22, 2013, two suicide bombers attacked on Christian worshipers in All Saints Church in Peshawar which killed 113 and injured dozens.
The attack on Pentecostal Church spread wave of fear among Christians of Peshawar who have not yet be healed by the All Saints Church.
The Christians of Peshawar demanded adequate security of Churches in Peshawar after firing on another Church on November 19, 2013.
Pastor A R Hashmat told PCP that its second attack on same Church within a year and his congregation of Assembly of God is very fearful.
