Islamabad: October 31, 2013. (PCP) J.Salik, Nominee for Nobel Peace Prize, three times elected as an independent member for National Assemblyl, Former Federal Minister on sound of drums and the tune ‘’Is perchum k saye taly hum aik hain’’ marched for seven times in front of Press club Islamabad. His march was against the degradation of the national flag and for restoration of national flags dignity and honor. Patron Aljihad Trust,Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of Pakistan also highlighted the importance and honor of national flag. Following are the issues for sue motto action: 1. Solid waste management company of turkey in Lahore has painted Turkish and Pakistan flags on dustbins and filth loaders resulting in degrading national flag. 2. One of the objectives of the 28 National Centers established in Pakistan was to promote and develop nationalism among the people of my beloved country. These national centers which were wound up, should be re-established in the interest to promote nationalism. 3. Now that municipal elections are going be held in provinces, cantonment boards and federal capital, the minorities representatives may be taken through election and not by selection
