Lahore: October 8, 2013. (PCP) The Christian community that is going under severe threats of terrorism now a Days in Pakistan as , "The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has said the recent attack at a Church in Peshawar that killed over 87 people was in 'accordance with the Shariah', but claimed that neither it nor any of its sub-groups were involved in the bombing. “We didn't carry out the Church attack. However, we believe it's according to the Sharia," TTP spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid told the BBC Urdu in a telephone interview from an undisclosed location. A similar attack was planned in the St. John's Catholic Church Youhanabad Lahore that was made unsuccessful by the Church Security guard named Ayub Sardar and his fellow security men. Ayub told the Voice that on Sunday i.e. 6th October 2013 during the Church Mass we traced two Afghan (Pathan) men in the Church attending the Mass, we brought them out of the Church and the fellow security men held them in our security room. Upon interrogating them they started making foolish excuses that we are here to witness the shrine. Upon forcing them they disclosed that one of their friends is hidden in the Church Compound as well. We traced the third man as well and detained him as well along with the two people. The two men belonged to Charsadda and the third man did not disclose his identity. It is worth to mention here that the I.D card recovered from the custody of two men were also fake. According to them their names were Mohammad kamal s/o Mohammad Zaman and Mohammad Hakim s/o not known. Whereas the third person did not even told us his name, We along with Fr. Francis Gulzar called the police on police helpline 15 and the police arrested them. The police told that the I.D. cards given my two men were fake and are not real. Now the matter is under the supervision of the relative Assistant police commissioner.Ayub also told The Voice Society that they all searched the Church thoroughly but thank God Nothing was recovered, it is their apprehension that the three Afghan people were present in the Church to settle a location first for any terrorist activity but God has saved our brothers and Sisters in Christ and nothing bad happened.
