Sargodha: August 7, 2013. (PCP) Talking with Pakistan Christian Post, Mr. Tahir Naveed Advocate said that formation of Pakistan Minorities Alliance PMA will be announced on August 11, 2013, in a gathering in his home town to follow the mission of Shaheed Shahbaz Bhatti. Mr. Tahir Naveed Advocate, former member of Punjab Assembly and leader of All Pakistan Minorities Alliance APMA which was formed by Shaheed Shahbaz Bhatti, resigned from APMA in July 2013, on differences with present leadership of APMA. Mr. Tahir Naveed Advocate told PCP that present leadership is not working according to vision of Shahbaz Bhatti and it was difficult for him to work with them. He further said that in a big gathering formation of Pakistan Minorities Alliance will vow to complete mission of Shaheed Shahbaz Bhatti on August 11, 2013 and will observe this day as not Minorities Day but “Day of Equality” in Pakistan. Mr. Tahir Naveed Advocate came in international limelight as an attorney for Rimsha Masih, a down syndrome Christian girl arrested under blasphemy charges.
