Karachi: June 15, 2013. (PCP) The Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC in a special meeting have approved nomination of Mr. Akram Waqar Gill as Chief Organizer of PCC-Punjab province of Pakistan. Mr. Akram Waqar Gill is political activist and human right defender of Pakistani Christians from decades. He is struggling for equal democratic rights of Pakistani Christians on different forums. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian PCC, welcomed Mr. Akram Waqar Gill in Pakistan Christian Congress and said " Joining of Mr. Akram Gill to PCC will strengthen PCC in Punjab province of Pakistan and ultimately good result in Local Bodies elections for PCC, in which PCC Lahore Conference have already announced to participate" Mr. Mushtaq Sardar Gill Advocate, President of Lahore PCC, Ruhama Ambreen Shah, President of Women Wing of Lahore PCC and Mr. Albert Khokhar, Founder Member of PCC from Islamabad have congratulated Mr. Akram Waqas Gill on his nomination as Chief Organizer of PCC-Punjab. Mr. Akram Waqar Gill along with PCC Punjab Council leaders Yousaf Shahid Gill, Zeeshan William and Dr. Adil Ghouri will supervise PCC Conferences in Islamabad, Faisalabad and Sahiwal which are scheduled to be held before November 2013. Mr. Ashiknaz Khokhar, President PCC Sahiwal Division and Pastor Shabir Patras, President of PCC Dijkot have congratulated Mr. Akram Waqar Gill on his nomination as Chief Organizer of Punjab province. Mr. Raymond Wallace Durrani, President of Canadian Chapter of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC, Mr. Pervez Iqbal, President of PCC Holland Chapter and Mr. Morris Sadiq, Secretary General of Pakistan Christian Congress have welcomed Mr. Akram Waqar Gill in folds of Pakistan Christian Congress.
