Khalid Gill condemn attack on Lahore Christians

Toronto, Canada: March 12, 2013. (PCP) Mr. Khalid Gill, Chief Coordinator, Global Human Rights Association Alliance GHRAA, condemned brutal attack on Pakistani christian in Badami Bagh Joseph Colony Lahore. Mr. Khalid Gill demanded to release innocent Sawan Masih 25 years accused of 295 C PPC. Mr. Gill apealed to provide protection to religious minorities of Pakistan and total repeal blawsphemy laws without further delay. Meanwhile, Mr. J Salik has reached back to Islamabad after three days staying with the effectees of Joseph colony Badami Bagh Lahore. He said that announcement from Chief Minister for Two lac for effected families was just a wounding action because the families have completely lost everything by vandalizing their houses on ashes. He stated that he demanded from Two Lac to 10 Lac compensation amount for each family and this demand got approved and Chief Minister has announced for 5 lac for each family and 5 lac from federal government excluding rebuilding their houses on urgent basis. He states that he controlled the situation from getting bad to worse by controlling and counseling young generation to get them calm and peaceful. He said that the whole Christian community is thankful to people from all walks of life those were stood with them at this crucial time. J Salik also thanked High Court Bar Association Rawalpindi they were on a strike today in solidarity with Christians on this painful incident and invited him to their meeting. J.Salik addressed the Bar Association alongwith the Secretary General High Court Bar Faisal Khan Niazi . Malik Jawad Khalid, Toufeeq Asif, Shafqat Munir Malik, Mh Ilyas Sheikh, Sajid Ilyas Bhatti, Raja Khalid Ismail Abbasi and Former president district Bar Rawalpindi Shiekh Ahsan u din also shared their thoughts at this occasion.
