HYDERAABD: Mar 07,2013. (Abbas Kassar) 4 Day Photo exhibition organised by Photojournalists Association Hyderabad Sindh concluded here on Wednesday.Around 300 photos by 18 photographers and cameramen of Hyderabad were kept in exhibition which was held at upper hall of press club Hyderabad. The exhibition contained variety of photos from warm sand of Thar to sizzling winter of Jaccobabad. The exhibition contained the pictures depicting beauty and nature of Sindh.It was first time in history of city that photo exhibition was held. The exhibition was inaugurated by federal minister Maula Bux Chandio and advisor Haleem Adil Shaikh. The exhibition was visited by MPA Nusrat Sahar Abbasi of F league, Maulana Shaukat Ali of JI, Amanullah Siyal of PPP, Dileep Daultani, SNP chief Ashraf Noonar, Ahsan Abro of Peoples Youth, Christian leader father Deneil and father Rafiq Masih, and Syed Amin Shah Rashdi chairmna of national committee on interfaith harmony. The photojournalists whose photos were kept for exhibition included Akram Shahid, Nadeem Khawar, Anjum Parwez, Yasir Rajput, Farhan Khan, Saleem Zai, Irfan, Ali Raza Soomro, Arif Shahid, Rashid Zai, Nazim,Umar Rajput and others. The photos kept on exhibition were of former prime minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi,Allama Shah Ahmed Noorani, Gen. Pervez Mushraf, PTI chairman Imran Khan, prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Sindh governor Ishratul Ibad, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto. The exhibition highlighted the social, cultural and political activities of especially of Pakistan. Also the photos of plight of affected people of earthquake of 2005, floods of 2010 and 2011, depicting sorrows and pathos of affected people including the ugly faces of poverty, hunger and diseases as well oldages, vocalists singling Shah Latif, migratory birds, children taken in measles, zoo animals, caravan of camels of Thar, etc. According to the organizers the exhibition was held in collaboration with some political and social organizations. The renowned photojournalist of country and the force behind this exhibition Zahid Hussain delivered a lecture on the subject. The exhibition was visited by large number of children of private and government schools of city. It ended with visit of Syed Amin Shah Rashdi and Amanullah Siyal on last day.
