Karachi. February 22, 2013. (PCP) PPP Minority Lawmaker Saleem Khursheed Khokhar Advocate has submitted an application regarding negligence of security and life threats to the S. P. Security Security Zone II, Speaker Sindh Assembly / Deputy Speaker, Sindh Assembly, President Sindh Bar Council and Karachi Bar Council. The contents of the application are as under: - The S. P. Security, Security Zone-II Karachi SUBJECT: NEGLIGENCE OF SECURITY I write to inform you that I have been provided 6 security guards, for the undersigned security. As you are aware that, I am vocal voice of the Religious Minorities in Pakistan whenever there are tense situation in the city out of 6 security guards to security guards namely Kaleem and Wali Security Guards / Constable remain absent and most of time they do not report on duty at my residence. It is pertinent to mention that ever since the undersigned moved a Adjournment Motion in the Provincial Assembly Sindh against Mr. Rehman Malik, Federal Interior Minister pertaining to his uncalled for remarks attributed / passed by him against Non Muslims of Pakistan, it appears that there is deliberate lapse in security. Kindly provide the undersigned proper security as the undersigned apprehend that the undersigned may be targeted and eliminated like late Salman Taseer, the Governor of Punjab Province who was murdered by his own security guard, namely Mumtaz Qadri and like Federal Minister on Minorities Affairs Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti a Christian Leader who was also targeted and murdered by terrorist at Islamabad.
