Toronto: December 4, 2012. (PCP) International Christian Voice's Chairman Peter Bhatti met with British Pakistani Christian Associations head Wilson Chowdhry from England in Brampton. Mr. Wilson Chowdhry is visiting Canada for a few days and had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Peter Bhatti to discuss the issues of the religious minorities of Pakistan. In their meeting they both agreed that there is a strong need for unity amongst the Pakistani Christians living abroad to join together for the plight of the Christians and other religious minorities of Pakistan. They also agreed that Minority Day should not be referred to as Black Day but instead it should be a day to honor the sacrifices the religious minorities of Pakistan paid for their beloved country. At the end of their meeting, Mr. Peter Bhatti asked Mr. Wilson Chowdhry to send warm Christmas greetings to all their friends in England and asked them to remember our brothers and sister who are not able to freely celebrate this joyous occasion in their prayers. Mr. Peter Bhatti felt delighted to have had the privilege to meet with Mr. Chowdhry for the first time and hopes that they will continue to work together for the betterment of the religious minorities of Pakistan. Chairman of ICV would like to thank Mr. Nawaz John and his family for welcoming them into their home and for arranging this meeting with Mr. Chowdhry. Others who attended the meeting included Mr. Qamar Andreas (Director of ICV), Mr. Richard Rath, Ms. Serena Samuel, Mrs. Phoebe Samuel, Mr. Eric Fhaim, Mr.Richard Donaldson and others.
