UNICF organizes Inter School Tournaments in flood hit Sindh districts

LARKANA: November 30, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) Inter School Tournament (IST) was held by UNICEF funded Right To Play (RTP) organization here in the rain and flood hit district of Kamber-Shahdadkot. Government Girls Middle Secondary School children in Arzi Bhutto Sijawal taluka conducted an activitiy and event organized by the RTP to promote sports healthy activities in the grils children and other curriculum activities. On the occasion, District Officer of Social Welfare Department M. Shareef Pathan and social and political leader Naheed Bhutto was among the chief guest of the event. During the activity 753 Children participated in different sports activities among the cricket and others, several other Schools of Sijawal taluka participated and the guests highlight the importance of fair Play and participation in healthier activities, to ensure the basic rights of the children. On the occasion, children among their teachers and parents also attended the activities, aimed to develop the skill and perfection in the children by the sports activities. Right To Play (RTP) highlighted the role of organization in the developing life skills of the children and making the schools friendly for innocent children to participate in games by learning and participation through tournaments of children. The event was appreciated the efforts of Right To Play on the occasion. Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Larkana held separate programs to celeberate its 45th Foudnation Day by the MPA Munwer Ali Abbasi at Waleed Larkana and Law Minister Ayaz Soomro at Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Memorial Library on Friday. On the occasion, 45 pound cake was cut by the senior companion of Z. A Bhutto and founder member of PPP Abdul Razak Soomro, MPA Munwer Abbasi at Waleed Larkana and Law Minister Ayaz Soomro and others at Sir Shahnawaz Library, the party people shouted slogans of Bhutto and urged the workers to follow the mission and vision of Z. A Bhutto according to the spirit they said. Speaking to the gatherings, the local leaders paid rich tributes to the legend democratic leader Shaheed Zuflikar Ali Bhutto on his services and founding the party on democratic principles in November 30, 1967. On the occasion, founder member former UAE Ambassador and senior Advocate Abdul Razak Soomro highlighted the struggle of PPP and its founder Z. A Bhutto and Chairperson PPP Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He said the world acknowledged leaders played their vital role in the democracy and sacrifice their lives for the poor and downtrodden people of country. On the occasion, Law Minister Ayaz Soomro and MPA Munwer Ali Abbasi also spoke high about the PPP and founder Zuflikar Ali Bhutto. While, other Highways Employees Union Sindh hundreds of workers took out protest demonstration against the 400 fake orders by the Superintendent of Engineer and other issues here on Friday. On the occasion, protesting workers among Ghulam Rasool Larik, Dilshad Chajro, Ali Murad Chandio, Bashir Ahemd Aheer and several other were shouting against the authorities for justice.
