New York: November 14, 2012. (PCP) Why we are conducting a Peace Tour of America and what is the reason for adopting this unique approach?
We would like to highlight the point that over the years, we have been attempting to promote our cause through the media, e-mails, internet, letters as well as presentation of memorandums to respective institutions including the United Nations. However, we have not received a desired response through these attempts. Based on our decades’ long community service experience, we believe that direct contact with the public, especially at grassroots level, is the most effective way of communicating a message. We believe that the US is the most influential country on this planet and New York is the capital of the world. Therefore, based upon our commitment, faith, prayers and dedication, this is the most suitable place to raise the voice for peace. We believe that the UN is the most effective institution to promote peace in the world. Therefore, at the advent of 2013, we are here in our Mobile Peace Prayer Hall. Our peace tour, which started on 23rd of November, 2012 will be concluding on 14th of January 2013 at the UN office where we will present a memorandum to the Secretary General. In this process, we appreciate the support of the media and the general public in America as well as across the world.
