Pakistani Hindu Panchayet fears forced conversion of 12 years old kidnapped girl

HYDERABAD: November 13, 2012. (Abbas Kassar) A gang of armed men kidnapped a 12 years old Hindu girl Moomal Meghwar from brick kiln near Kunri. Her father Rano and mother Samjhoo along with other members of Meghwar community held protest demonstration in front of press club Kunri district Mirpurkhas and told newsmen that they originally belong to Thar but due to drought there they had been working on brick kiln of Mari. He said 5 armed men attacked their family and kidnapped his daughter 12 years old Moomal. He said they had made complaint with elder men of the area but no one heard them. Police also refused to lodge their report, he added. He said the kidnappers were threatened them of dire consequences. He said due to kidnapping of his girl their Diwali has turned into mourning. Meanwhile Kishan Chand Parwani president All Pakistan Hindu Panchayet and member of national assembly (MNA) and leaders of APHP Karachi chapter Mohan Manjani, Barma Jesrani, Raj Kumar and comrade Amarlal have made appeal to international community, UNO, human rights organizations, Sindhi nationalists and others to help stop kidnapping of Hindu girls and recover the kidnapped Hindu girls. They said if Moomal was not recovered immediately then they will be listening news on media about her conversion to Islam. Meanwhile 264 Hindu pilgrims who had gone to India from Sindh have refused to return and have said that their honor and property was not safe in Pakistan at hands of religious extremists. They have made appeal to Indian government for their asylum. Indian politicians Mulayem Singh, Raj Nath, Mehtab and others have raised the issue of Hindu migrants in parliament and sought government help in this regard.
