(By Shabbir Patras) The Procession of Christ in Catholic Village Chak 51/G.B Khushpur near Samundri Tehsil of Faisalabad District was taken out like very year in the last Sunday of October. This special event’s celebrations start with church people come of church and in the shape of procession they move in every street of village. The beauty of this procession is that every street prepares well with live Biblical Stories. Many Catholic Priests participate in this Procession of Christ from different Parishes of Pakistan. This year Fr. Khalid Rashid (Ex. V G of Faisalabad Diocese) led the Procession of Chris. For edification this village is called Pakistani (Italy’s city Room) and this village also has very special personalities like Allama Ernest Paul, Bishop Dr. John Joseph Shaheed , Javed Sandu and Shaheed-e-Jemoriat Shahbaz Bhatti ( Late Chairman of All Pakistan Minorities Alliance).
