Karachi: September 24, 2012. (PCP) The ethnic Pashtun militants targeted one more Christian resident of Essa Nagri on 22nd September 2012, make killing total of 3 in this month and injuring six.
The Essa Nagri Christians with their self-help constructed walls around their area for safety keeping one entrance for more than two lacks Christian inhabitants to stop entry of Muslim militants after target killing of two Christian youths.
On September 22, 2012, when Zulfiqar Masih was on main road, the Islamists asked him to stop and after confirmation that he lives in Essa Nagri, shot him dead at spot. Zulfiqar Masih was 30 years old and support of his family.
On August 29, 2012, Faisal Masih was shot dead while on September 12, 2012, Yousaf Masih was gunned down by Pashtun terrorists.
On September 15, Rafi Masih and Nasir Masih were shot dead by same Pashtun militants and three Christian received bullet injuries.
There were First Information Reports FIR lodged against Islamists in PIB Colony Police Station but police have not arrested any culprit.
MASS, a social welfare and Human Rights organization based in Essa Nagri has strongly condemned killing of Essa Nagri's poor Christians. MASS has appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Supreme Court to take Suo-Motto notice of target killing of poor Christian’s and provide proper safety and security of Christians of Essa Nagri Karachi, Pakistan. MASS has also demanded from the provincial government of Pakistan Peoples Party PPP to take an action against these criminals and killers of Christians.
