LARKANA: September 19, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) Hindu Community in Larkana once expressed their grief over life threats to minorities by the land mafia, those who occupied on the Industrial plot near Shaikh Zaid Colony Larkana. In a press statement issued by the General Hindu Panchiayat (GHP) enraged over the occupation of land mafia on a commercial industrial plot of Hindu trader near Shaikh Zaid Colony Larkana. Community Chairman Lekhraj Motomal, Jawahir Lal, Nanik Ram held an emergency meeting and informed the district administration for occupation of land mafia on industrial plot of a Hindu trader in Larkana. Enraged Hindu leaders expressed their grief over life threats and demanded of the protection immediately. They have also appealed the President of Pakistan, Chief Minister Sindh and authorities to vacate their plot from land mafia and assured them for the protection Hindu community. They also condemned the American Film by the US Citizen against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and said they should immediately withdraw the idea about and destroy Film, otherwise it will creat unrest among the Muslims and other communities they said. Meanwhile the protest by various religious groups and civil society in Larkana and other parts continued here on Wednesday. On the occasion, several religious and social groups among Jamiat Ulma-e-Pakistan (JUP) and its wings Hussaini Jamait, Jamit Ahle Sunnat, Suni Tehreek (ST), Khaksar Tehreek (KT), Jamiat Ulmae Islam (JUI) and several other civil society organizations took out rallies against the US in Larkana Bakrani, Dhamrah, Sijawal Junejo, Kamber-Shahdadkot and other parts of district and country throughout. They held protest demonstrations and chanted angry slogans against the Film mocking against the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). The country wide protests are continued against the blasphemous US film on Prophet Muhammad, they widely condemned enraged demonstrators chanted anti-American and Israel slogans in a protest. They demanded the government to ban and withdraw diplomatic ties immediately and submit the protest resolutions. The protest rallies took out from different parts of districts and cities and blocked main highway, roads for several hours that suspended the traffic during protest against the Film.
