Karachi. The Divisional Bench of Sindh High Court at Karachi on Wednesday, October 26 ordered Advocate General Sindh to file comments on behalf of the Respondents Home Secretary, Additional I. G. Sindh, Capital City Police Officer Karachi, TPO Sadder Town and SHO Frere Police Station before 1st November 2005 in a Petition filed by the Lady Administrator of the Brenton Carey Girls Hostel, an institute of Karachi Diocese, Church of Pakistan. The divisional bench comprising Mr. Justice Ghulam Rabbani and Mr. Justice Munib Ahmed Khan after hearing the Learned Counsels Mr. Raja Qureshi Advocate and Mr. Khowaja Navid Ahmed Advocate appearing on behalf of the Petitioner Mrs. Ghazala Shafique ordered Advocate General Sindh to place the Reports of two inquires into the sad incident, conducted by Mr. Nayyar Hussnain Additional Inspector General Sindh and Mr. Sanaullah Abbasi TPO Sadder Town on the orders of Federal Government, on record of the Court. The Advocates for the Petitioner argued that Mrs. Ghazala Shafique the Administrator of Brenton Carey Girls Hostel was attacked by the self-proclaimed and illegitimate bishop Rev. Sadiq Daniel and his associates on 11th April 2005, wherein she was beaten, stripped and manhandled by the intruders, who also outraged her modesty, in order to take physical possession of the Hostel land. Instead of registering case against the trespassers the local Police registered a false case against the Petitioner and twenty girl students of the Hostel, who are also the victims along with hostel Administrator. Both the Learned Counsels argued that the matter has been investigated by two senior Police Officials in separate inquiries, who have recommended registration of a nominated FIR for outrage of modesty against Sadiq Daniel, Shahzar Shamoun and others who forcibly entered in Hostel, dragged Mrs. Ghazala Shafique out, manhandled her and outraged her modesty, the Counsels for the Petitioner requested the Court to order Advocate General to place the reports of both the inquires before the Court and requested the Court to insure the implementation of the inquiry reports and cancellation of falsely registered FIR against the Petitioner and girl students of the hostel. After hearing advocates for both sides the Court ordered the Advocate General to file comments and place both the inquiry reports on case file before next date of hearing and adjourned the hearing till 1st November 2005.
