HYDERABAD, PAKISTAN: August 31, 2012. (By Abbas Kassar) Prayer service was held at St. Francis Xavier's community hall at Tilk Chari here on Friday evening where people from all faiths had gathered and made appeal for release of 11 years old Christian girl Rimsha of Islamabad who had been involved in blasphemy case and was detained in Adyala Jail Rawalpindi. They gathering were told that due to blasphemy laws a minor girl considered not fully mentally healthy and also illiterate has become latest victim. The inter-religious prayer was organized by Justice and Peace Commission. It also demanded that government must ensure that law is not misused. The prayer service was led by Rev.sr.Catherine Gill FMM coordinator JPC Hyderabad region. The prayer service was also attended by civil society members and a delegation of Shia Muslim community led by Allama Abbas Kumaili the noted Shia scholar also attended the service.
