Canada: August 30, 2012. (PCP) Toronto United Christian Convention Committee would like to thank all the Churches, Pastors, Choirs, Singers, Musicians, Volunteers, Donors, Well-wishers and Prayer warriors for making the convention a mega success in Toronto. Over the three days, record crowds were spiritually blessed with the powerful preaching of Rev. Dr. Jamil Nasir, a sprit-filled and very humble servant of the Lord. He also shared his powerful testimony and ministry work at Portico Church and Humberlea Worship Centre – two large Canadian Churches in Toronto. In addition, he was invited to Edmonton. Alberta, Canada, to preach for three days, and many people were also blessed with his message there. During his stay in Toronto, Dr. Jamil Nasir had an opportunity to meet several dignitaries including: Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper – Prime Minister of Canada, Finance Minister – Hon. Jim Flaherty, Hon. Bob Dechert – Parliamentary Secretary of Foreign Affairs, State Sports Minister – Hon. Bal Gosal, MP Parm Gill, MP Joe Daniel and MP Ted Opitz.A special thank goes to Rev. Dr. David Charles for hosting Dr. Jamil Nasir and Brother Adrees Masih for catering the dinner for three days for a very special price.
