Displaced Pakistani Christian families after blasphemy case hiding in forest

Islamabad: August 28, 2012. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC said that Christians are surprised on a news item released by international news agencies that hundreds of fearful Christian family members are hiding in nearby forest who fled from Meherabad, a slum of Islamabad, after Muslim mob attacked Christian homes and arrest of minor disabled Christian on blasphemy while National Harmony Ministry of government of Pakistan, All Pakistan Minority Alliance APMA and many other foreign funded Non-Governmental publically claimed that displaced Christian children, women, men and elders in total 600 are being brought in shelters in secure vicinities and provided with food and water. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said it is shameful for government of Pakistan, Church based humanitarian organizations, so-called Justice and Peace Commissions other NGO, s who are enjoying fund for vested interests received to safe victims of blasphemy, rehabilitation of poor’s and other persecuted Christians in Pakistan. “I doubt that Rimsha Masih case will be made more complicated by administration, as his age and disability is not assessed by independent medical board of doctors and Christian organization which is dealing case have not hired any face value attorney who may fight legal venues of this issues” said Nazir Bhatti Nazir Bhatti urged President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf to provide shelter to displaced Christian families after Rimsha blasphemy issue and rehabilitate them.
