Philadelphia: August 26, 2012. (PCP) The leaders of different Christian organization met here on Saturday at residence of PCC Chief Nazir S Bhatti in Philadelphia PA, USA, to discuss situation of Christians in Pakistan after arrest of Rimsha Bibi, 11 years Christian disabled girl in Islamabad under blasphemy charges.
The joint statement to condemn arrest of minor handicap girl Rimsha Bibi was approved to submit to office of Pakistani Ambassador in USA at Washington DC, to lodge protest of Pakistani Christian Diaspora in USA.
The Pak-American Christian Federation, Pakistan Christian Congress, Pakistani American Christian League and Pakistani American Christian coalition leaders and many laymen were present in meeting.
The Pakistan Christian Congress, Pak-American Christian Federation and Pakistani American Christian Association decided to stage protest in front of UNO building in NEW York on August 30, 2012, at 12;00 Noon for repeal of blasphemy law and release of Rimsha Bibi and Asia Bibi;
According to Pakistan Christian Congress PCC, Pakistan administration is not sincere to amend or stop misuse of blasphemy law in pakistan.
PCC Chief Dr. Nazir S Bhatti demanded that EU and US administration to condition humanitarian and military aid to Pakistan to human rights, religious freedom and repeal of blasphemy law.
