Lahore.
Subject: PROVIDING THE FACILITY OF DRINKING WATER IN THE UNIVERSITIES EXAMINATIONS CENTRES.
Honourable Sir,
Pakistan Minorities’ Teachers Association (PMTA) would like to draw your kind attention on the subject cited above.
Sir, the universities in the province of Punjab do not provide the facility of drinking water to the appearing candidates in the examination centres if the examinations fall in the month of Ramadan. The matter has been brought to the notice of PMTA by the minorities’ students who are suffering a lot have to be without drinking water which is actually the violation of the fundamental rights which have been described in the constitution of Pakistan. Universities charge huge examination fees from the candidates and they are liable to provide required facilities to the candidates.
Sir, being the Chancellor of the universities that fall in the jurisdiction of the province of Punjab PMTA requests you to order the Vice Chancellors of the universities in Punjab to provide the facility of drinking water immediately in the examination centres.
With best regards.
