Copenhagen: July 26, 2012. (PCP) Naeem Rafique is a well-known businessman from Islamabad. He is married with a girl from Muslim family. Naeem's wife accepted Jesus Christ willingly after their marriage. The family of Naeem's wife is very religious and has also a political influence in Pakistan. They were against the relationship of their daughter with a Christian man. Mr. Naeem got married in court luckily without much investigation about their religion. Naeem Rafique and his family have survived some years in Pakistan by living at many different locations. Mr. Naeem and his family have been receiving serious threats from the family of Naeem's wife. They even tried to kidnap their children few times. Naeem Rafique decided to leave Pakistan for safety of his family. They reached Denmark somehow and applied for asylum. Danish Government has recently refused their application and said that nothing can happen to them in Pakistan. Mr. Moazzam Salamat, a Christian leader said “I think Danish Government has not at all any idea about the discrimination and persecution of non-Muslims In Pakistan” APCL leader further added “As we know Naeem's wife is wajab ul qatal (lawful to kill) according to sharia law and fatwas of some Islamic religious leaders” Some organizations are trying to help Naeem and his family but he has requested Christian leader Moazzam Salamt to request the entire Pakistani Christian community living In Europe to pray for them and stand with them in this difficult time.
