LARKANA: July 21, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) Sindh Sahafi Sangat (SSS) Larkana division has started membership drive and campaign for new bodies at district and tehsils level to strengthen local level journalists and unite them on one plate form. On Monday, Central body including Chairman SSS Noor Sindhi, Allah Bux Kumbhar, M. Anjum Bughio, Yousuf Ganghro, Nazir Ahmed and others told SSS working for the rights of Sindh journalists and uniting them at one plate form to resolve their social issues and their own differences among the districts. Noor told that the objective of SSS to stenthen journalists’ community over all to face the challenges and threats to the community they said. Media playing a pivotal role in the information dissemination, but the self-media community is untrained and facing hardships during the coverage and other issues. They have appealed all the journalists in district and tehsil headquarters to unite for their casue and achievement of their objectives. Meanwhile, Khaksar Tehreek Larkana chapter organized “youth convention” on social issues of young and role of Pakistani youth in the education and social change here at Nizamani Labour Hall Larkana. A large number of youth community from various parts of districts attended two sessions’ event, and theme on Social Change in Society and the role of youth in Pakistan. Chief Khaksar Tehreek Dr. Sabiha Mashriqi presided over youth convention and several other dignitaries were among the convention, while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf women wing also participated the Khaksar youth convention at Larkana. Speaking to the youth convention, Dr. Sabiha Mashriqi stress the youth on education and skill development technical training in every filed. She said that there is a dire need of our youth to build character and capacity development of society; the youth are the source of struggle and achievement, so that they should proper struggle for a cause. She said the young people are the future of country and they can change the society through collective struggle and by education. KT chief said the rulers should invest heavy budget on youth education and their physical, technical; skill and capacity building trainings in each and every district and tehsil for prosper development she said. On the occasion, delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf led by Shahid Rind also participated in the youth convention, Khaksar Tehreek Karachi division leaders Professor Ali Nasar Askari, Nazm-e-Alla Sindh KT Azm-e-Hyder, M B Abro, Anwer Ali, Abdul Qadir Sodher, Abdul Qayoom Dayo, Karim Bux Brohi and others spoke on the occasion.
