WASHINGTON DC: June 30, 2012. (PCP) The founder of the American Friends of Balochistan AFB, on Saturday rejected Pakistan charges against Switzerland-based Baloch leader Sardar Brahumdagh Bugti and called upon the Swiss authorities to launch an impartial probe to clear the Baloch leader's name. Ahmar Mustikhan in a statement Saturday rejected the propaganda unleashed by Islamabad that two Bugti loyalists Danish Rind and Yasin Bugti carried out terrorist attacks in Quetta, capital of Balochistan, on the orders of the Swiss-based leader. The two young men were paraded before the Pakistani media to give false stories. "I condemn Islamabad for extracting forced confessions by using third degree torture. I simply cannot believe Sardar Brahumdagh Bugti would ever condone such acts of terror as this was not the way of Shaheed-i-Azam Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti. Shaheed Nawab Bugti never indulged in such acts; no patriot can ever think of conducting bomb blasts on his own soil. I am pretty much sure Sardar Brahumdagh Bugti would never let the well-wishers of the late Nawab Bugti down by undertaking such actions," he said, adding, "Bomb blasts are cowardly actions that kill innocent people as well" Nawab Bugti was killed on the orders of army chief, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, an immigrant from India. Mustikhan rejected Pakistani claims of an Indian hand in Balochistan unrest adding that, "Had India been a friend of Balochistan, it would not have remained a silent spectator to the Nazi- style brutalities in Balochistan." He called upon the government of Pakistan to conduct a free and fair trial of Danish Rind and Yasin Bugti. Mustikhan urged the Swiss authorities to interview and talk to Sardar Brahumdagh Bugti and conduct their own free and impartial inquiry to get to the truth of the matter.
