LARKANA: June 11, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) Several protest demonstrations and hunger strikes for their objectives held by the different groups strike in front of Larkana Press Club here on Monday. The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) District Larkana continued their protest and observed token hunger against the transfer of their colleague Muhammad Kamil Sargani. On the occasion, a large number of APCA leaders and workers were holding the placards and banners shouting the slogans in favor of their demands Sabir Soomro, Rasool Bux Kalhoro, Aijaz Mirani, Mushtaque Gopang, Sharif Chachar and others led their protest and chanted slogans for back their colleague Mohammed Kamil. Protesting leaders said that ADEO Larkana Gulshair Soomro has politically victimized their colleague to report for Karachi in order to with draw from struggle of their rights. They demanded of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Provincial Minister for Education Pir Mazhar Ul Haq and MNA Faryal Talpur to take notice of mater and cancel the transfer order of APCA leader other wise they will continue their protest till the acceptance of their demands Another protest was continued by the 60 year old PPP worker Allah Bux Shaikh, resident of Larkana city against injustices. He carrying the portraits of Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto continued his token hunger strike for financial assistance and provision of house to implement the slogan of Roti Kapra Aur Makan. Talking to media men, he said that he had devoted his whole life to serve as party worker he went jail several times and faced various political cases; even he sold his house due to party but no job opportunity by the PPP elected representatives, the PPP is ignoring the senior workers till today he said. He disclosed that his son sacrificed of his life and died due to electrocuted while hoisting the PPP Flag into the eclectic pole near Bakrani road Larkana but now the local leaders have forgotten his services he said, further informed he is living in rented house and facing the poverty and unemployment but elected representatives and local leaders have failed to listen his problems and redress his issues he told. The PPP worker appealed to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousif Raza Gilani, C M Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and MNA Farayal Talpur to take notice of matter and resolve his problems other wise he will continue his protest till the last drop of blood provide his justice. While other, the Growers and landlords of various tehsils of Taluka Sijawal Junejo Kamber and Shahdadkot observed protest, demonstration and staged sit in at Ratodero Gawadar Motorway against the water scarcity. They blocked vehicular traffic for several hours and torched tyers against acute shortage of irrigation water and several atrocities of irrigation officials for not providing the water to in the different areas, while the seeds are destroyed due to non availability of water. On the occasion, protesting leaders of deferent organization were holding the banners and placards inscribed slogans against the irrigation officials and local PPP Leaders for neglecting to their voters. They also alleged that concerned officials of irrigation department are receiving the bribe for releasing water to distributaries from canals. Meanwhile, a large number of women from different parts of Larkana and PPP Ladies wing Larkana staged protest demonstration at Larkana Wagan road against the officials of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Larkana and HBL staff for receiving the bribe from poor women and facilitating to their favorites and non provision of 8 month stipend. On the occasion, hundreds women of Waleed Muhala, Garibabad , Hussaini Muhalla Larkana UC 6, Shaikh Zaid Colony Larkana, Gareeb Abad, Naka No 7 and others were holding the portraits of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto along with their children in scorching heat and condemned the BISP and HBL officials for depriving the majority of women. Talking to media men, senior PPP worker Fahmida Pathan, Sughra Pacho, Zubaida ,Umaidan, Afroz Pathan and others alleged that the officials were depriving the poor women from stipend and facilitating to their favorites with a bribe. They also claimed that hundreds women are roaming out side the BISP center at Wagan road but they are not properly responded by concerned officers. They informed that several women along with their little kids have fell unconscious due to heat out side BISP office while there is not cold water facility for the women. They also alleged BISP and HBL officials hired the agents at four corners who are receiving the bribe of BISP payment, a wandering women appealed to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousif Raza Gilani, Chairperson BISP Farzana Raja to take serious notice of inhuman behavior of concerned officials of Larkana Center and provide seven month stipend from BISP and take action against the corrupt officials to provide relief to destitute women.Other wise, women along with their children will observe hunger strike in front of Mazar of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto they said.
