Condolence meeting held for gunned down journalist Aurangzeb Tunio

LARKANA: May 12, 2012. (Nazir Siyal) Journalist Community in Larkana Press Club held condolence meeting on the sad demise of local TV Journlist Aurangzeb Tunio, who was gunned down in Lalu Rank near Kamber city by armed Mugheri tribesmen. On the occasion, Chief Organizer Sindh Sahafi Sangat Nazir Siyal, Dr. Badar, Mohammed Ali Behleem, Imtiaz Ali Gorar, Asif Ali Chandio, Qazi Aijaz and others offered Fateha on the occasion. They also demaded of the Sindh government to protect media men and arrest the culprits of the killers of Journalist Aurangzeb, while Journalit Community in Larkana were not briefed about the different schemes and not invited the farewell to the Commissioner Larkana. The media men condemned the attitude of Deputy Commissioner Larkana Abdul Aleem Lashari on its negative attitude with Journalists’ of Larkana. They have demanded of the Sindh government to remove sitting Deputy Commissioner Larkana immediately and depute an honest and diligent officer in Larkana. Meanwhile, Journalist Community have pledged that they will continue their services for the Press Freedom and struggle for the rights of independence of Journalists on the eve of 13 May against the dictator, who punished the Journalists
