Australia: May 12, 2012. (PCP) I am appealing to all Pakistani Christians around the world to join in on May 26 2012 to pray for Christians in Pakistan. I am aware that we all pray for our Fellow Christians in Pakistan but this would be all Christians uniting as one to pray on the same day. I hope and pray that you will share this with all your readers. It is not necessary to form groups, even though that will be preferred, but if everyone could pray especially on that day it will be a definite blessing. The focus of the prayer will be as follows: 1. Pray for God's guidance and direction for the Christians in Pakistan. 2. Pray for the safety of our people. 3. Pray for those who are in prison and are being persecuted for their faith. 4 Pray for the unity of all Christians regardless of their denomination or belief. 5. Pray for those families who are facing financial hardships due to their belief or other reasons. 6. Pray for our young people that God will guide them in the right direction. 7. Pray for our Christian leaders that they will lead the community for the betterment of the community and not for their own agenda. 8. Pray for the leaders of the country that they would realize that it is their duty to protect all citizens of the country regardless of their religion, culture or creed. 9. Pray for those who persecute and say all manner of evil against us, that God will give them the wisdom to understand their own actions. 10. Pray for the Pakistani Christians living abroad, that they will also feel their responsibility toward our Christian brothers and sister and unite to do something tangible for the benefit of our community. 11. Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit to kindle in us a spirit of giving, care and compassion towards our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. 12. Pray that God will open ways to help us assist our community in Pakistan to stand on their feet with pride and dignity. I will appreciate if you could pass this on to your readers to join us in this season of prayer and fasting. The message of Mordecai in the Book of Esther 4:13-14 is also for us today and we need to respond as Esther did in Esther 4:15. I hope and pray that God will grant us the wisdom not only to uplift our community in Pakistan but to bring glory and praise to the name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour. May God bless you all.
