Islamabad: April 25, 2012. (PCP) IHRC Chief is pleased to announce that "Excellency Julius Salik"is designated as the "Ambassador at Large for Peace of International Human Rights Commission" on his services for Peace, Human Rights & especially for the Minority Rights and interfaith harmony in Pakistan and worldwide. Talking on telephone with him, IHRC Chief appreciates his noble services and assured full support for his all peace initatives. Excellency Julius Salik will be honoured as "Ambassador at Large for Peace of International Human Rights Commission" in special ceremony and IHRC Chief will present him credentials. He disconnects the electricity to his residence and brings in camels to share his living space. He burns his belongings. He treks thousands of kilometers. He observes silence for days on. He talks for hours on. He wears coarse cotton. He does it all for a cause. And for Salik, every action has a reason, and an effect. Nobel peace prize nominee and former Federal Minister of Pakistan, Julius Salik, 62 year old is currently promoting his mission of world peace.
