Islamabad: April 12, 2012. (PCP) J Salik has always fought for the rights of the workers and the oppressed people oppressed for which his name will be written in history in golden words.
This was stated by Chaudhry Nasir Ali Ghumman, General Secretary Daska Bar Association in his welcome address before J Salik’s address to the bar the other day.
Chaudhry Nsir said J Salik raises his voice not only for the rights of the oppressed segments of Pakistani society but of the whole world. His sentiments for Pakistan are thought provoking,” he said adding that J Salik is a leader of the 21st century who does not discriminate human beings on the basis of faith or religion. He want equal rights for all human beings, He said Founder of the Nation Quad-i-Azam where there would be no discrimination on the basis of religion, cast or creed or ethnicity.” We the lawyers of Pakistan want a moderate Pakistan,’ he added.
General Secretary Pakistan Peoples’ Party Sialkot District Nazir Ahmad Dhiloon in his address to the Bar said J Salik needed no introduction; He is an institution in himself. In politics ha has never compromised on principles” He says what he means and he means what he says,” Sais Nazir Dhiloon... He said it’s hard to find a leader who is so s selfless a leader who serves the down trodden masses with absolute sincerity. He said J Salik is the only leader who fights for the rights all oppressed segments of society irrespective of their faith, religion, cast or creed, He selflessly fights for their equal rights on human plain. He said J Salik has rich credentials, He was twice elected as member of the Lahore Municipal Corporation and thrice as Member National Assembly and once elevated to high office of federal minister during the second stint of Shaheed Motarma Benazir Bhutto who nominated his for the Nobel Peace Prize. He was never found involved in single paisa corruption.” In my view, if a minister surrounded by corrupt bureaucracy shuns corruption. He enjoys piety of saint (Walliullah).He only a strong and honest leader can contemptuously reject tickets offered by political parties. Senior Advocate Abdus Sattar Goraia paying tributes to J Salik said that he was highly impressed by J Salik for no contradiction in what he says and what he does. He said J Salik shares his views with all democracy loving patriotic people of Pakistan people democracy. He said the message J Salik has delivered in his speech to the Daska Bar will not only spread over Daska but also all the nooks and corners of the country, and the world at large giving real political and democratic consciousness to wherever his voice is heard.. J Salik’s message is a message of peace, brotherhood and prosperity k Bar thanked all office –bearers of the Bar for inviting him to express his views. He hoped that by the Grace of God, his interaction with Daska Bar will continue to promote democracy and democratic norms.
