Hyderabad, Pakistan: March 29, 2012. (PCP) In 7th January 2012 SHADE introduced a new project for Youth named “Youth Leadership & Action (YLA). Youth Leadership & Action unites the youth vision and extends their abilities into actions. We direct youth toward becoming responsible social animals that solve societal problems through their organized actions that benefit society, community and the nation. Youth leadership occurs when young people, by giving of themselves - their energy, gifts, and beliefs - inspire and propel others to action for the common good. The Youth Leadership & Action (YLA) brings a social justice vision to youth leadership development. We design and promote a collaborative approach that prepares young people to provide leadership for positive change in organizations and civic life. This dynamic new approach, collective leadership, is quickly gaining appreciation throughout the field. We offer practical tools, training, and consulting services to help foundations, organizations, young people and adults develop leadership abilities rooted in their own values, goals, and skills YLA group supports community leaders and youth workers in community building, development, and sustainability efforts. Our Building Community model, which forms the basis for much of our work, is an adaptable approach to community building in which youth and adults work as partners to examine community resources, develop a community vision, and take action to create meaningful change. The YLA Newsletter of SHADE Hyderabad Sindh is published with an aim to aware our youth, those are unaware of their rights and responsibilities?
