Islamabad: March 27, 2012. (PCP) There are hundreds of International Socio-Welfare organizations which look for their representation in Pakistan. Such organizations surf Internet and contact Pakistani Christians who have dream to bring change in lives of common oppressed persecuted Christians in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Here is story of one of such Pakistani Christian whose name is Shamim Masih.
Shamim Masih used to e-Mail me his actions on ground in capital city of Pakistan of functions organized by him to promote one International Human Rights organization’s Chapter which I published in Pakistan Christian Post.
I was shocked when received e-mail of Shamim Masih today which he urged me to publish also to invite attention of other Human Right activists.
I understand, there are thousands of International organizations which are funding their chapters in Pakistan and enjoying life.
There are many foundations and legal aid associations in Pakistan which have owned any Christian victim of blasphemy law and making millions.
Here’s letter of Shamim Masih for readers:
Dear Sir,
My name is Shamim Masih, born in April 10, 1973 in a village of Distt. Sheikhupora, and brought up in Gujranwala (Punjab) Pakistan. I did my B A from "University of the Punjab" in 1993. I want to go for the higher studies as well but could not do so due to the lack of sources. I was found of it and luckily I got chance for (MBA) Masters in Business Administration (Executive) during my job at "Army Public School & College"
Thus I passed my MBA (Executive) in 2000 from "Army Public College of Management Science" than I worked in different banks in Consumer dept. on contractual basis........
I am grateful to you people that you have printed few my articles earlier and I am hopeful that you will raise a voice this time as well, although it’s my personal story but there are so many people like me in our surroundings....
I worked for "People to People International" for many years but no gain, I was running Capital Chapter "Islamabad Pakistan Chapter, PTPI had not paid me even a single penny during the last ten years but at the same time PTPI has paid to a Muslim person who is running "Punjab Chapter" and he has travelled in different countries on PTP behalf, while I have not been granted a single visa so for.... (my point is not, why he is being paid. my concern is why not me too)
In the surrounding, it is general perception that Christian people are being obliged while the fact is that no one bother about Christianity or anything like this, politics is all around.
PTP executive body cancelled my charter without giving any reason.........there are so many INGOs and Christians organization and Embassies in Pakistan, but there are no special vacancies for any tenanted Christian person, no one is there for talent haunting in Christian of the Pakistan.
I tell you that for the last three years I don't have proper job although I have tried to take some initiative but could not succeed and now the situation is at this stage that there is nothing to eat in my house for the last few days..... I have been suffering Pollen Allergy and in Islamabad it is severe attack, I am totally struck and lying in the house, I have four children, 11, 9, 6 and 2 years of ages...... three older one are school going and very talented and scouring very good marks but unfortunately for the last six months I could not pay their school fee and school administration has struck their name from the school.....
I humbly request you publish my story if there is any organization who can give me job so that i can earn my living..... Find the attached copy of my CV and profile and few pictures of my family as well.
I will be grateful...Otherwise I have come at the stage to take some serious action...... like committing suicide ....
Be blessed,
Shamim
