Police fail to recover 2 kidnapped Pakistani Christian hospital workers

Karachi: March 8, 2012. (PCP) Two Christian workers of a Korean Hospital kidnapped on gunpoint on February 29, 2012, have not been recovered by Karachi police. Indaris Javed and Isaac Simon were kidnapped by four Pashtu speaking kidnappers who confirmed their hospital identities and forced them out of their vehicle and pushed them in car number RNN-71, at Chowk Shamshi Colony, near Naz Snack Bar, Sector 11-1/2, Orangi Town, at 8;15 AM. Both Christians were working in Good Samaritan Hospital established by Korean missionaries in slums of Orangi Town number 16, in Karachi. Indrias Javed s/o Ashraf Masih aged 41 years is married having two children and Issac Simon s/o Younas Sadiq Masih age 25 years, unmarried. Indrias is General Manager in Korean Hospital and living in Mehmoodabad no. 2 Karachi. He belongs to poor Christian family. His wife and children are very upset and depressed, his brother Sawool Ashraf said, “We can't sleep properly from 29th Feb, 2012." Isaac Simon is living in Street no. 11 Azam Basti Karachi and is working as Accountant in Good Samaritan Hospital. His family is also upset and depressed. He belongs to a poor Christian family. Mr. Isaac Simon's mother said, “Isaac is my loving son I can't sleep from the day when he kidnapped. Our all family is very upset and depressed." Both Families members are disturbed and said the medical director of Good Samaritan Hospital, Mr. Luke Lim (Korean) is very co-operative with us and struggling to release our both missing members. FIR of kidnapping was lodged in Police Station Pakistan Bazar, Karachi with Case # 27/2012 under section Pakistan panel code 365/34, against unknown kidnappers. Muhammad Ayub Pathan is the investigation officer of this case. MASS delegation visited the both families. MASS President Mr. Liaquat Munawar Masih condemn this kidnapping and said to family members," We are with you, kindly pray for the missing members and be patience just believe in God. God will save them. Mr. Liaquat Munawar Masih appeal to all Christians kindly pray for Indrias and Isaac and their families. MASS President Mr. Liaquat Munawar Masih demanding from the Government of Pakistan to save the life’s of Indrias Javed and Isaac Simon and to arrest the kidnappers as soon as possible.
