Karachi: March 6, 2012. (PCP) Bishop K.M Bhutto through a letter to PCP disclosed that after false case against Pastor Sylvester Nadeem, and his escape from Pakistan, His wife with two sons is passing through very difficult and dangerous situation because of regular threats and troubles by Muslim extremists. Talking to the PCP correspondent, Bishop mentioned further, Wife of Pastor Sylvester Nadeem and me with other church members tried to get protection from the local police, but police officials refused and threats to take action against sons if Pastor Sylvester Nadeem is not brought to them. Explaining more the Bishop K.M Bhutto, added, they tried to file an appeal to the Government authorities for safety and protection of wife and two sons of Pastor Sylvester Nadeem, but all remained result less. I am trying to appeal to the authorities through local media but keeping in mind my own safety and of my family I am staying back but am trying to contact to some international media to publish our appeal for their safety, may be authorities can see and take step but even they read, my hopes are very small because this is a religious issue and on this point Muslims have common thoughts, said Bishop K.M Bhutto. Bishop K.M Bhutto further confirmed that few weeks ago Maluvi of the Mosque in their locality, declared through a Fatwaa against Pastor Sylvester Nadeem and his family, that one who kill them will not only please Allah and Prophet Mohammad but be welcomed in heaven. After this Fatwaa spoken during Friday Prayers, Pastor Sylvester Nadeem and his family are extra danger and left to hide and protect them. But for how long they can manage to hide and save themselves, nobody can guarantee. PCP got copies of Fatwaa and letter of the Bishop, but decided not to publish for security reason and to avoid troubles for Bishop and Church congregation.
