Karachi: February 5, 2012. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has said that produce Jawed Bhatti in court of law who is son of Lazar Bhatti Vice President of PCC and missing from his Karachi residence from eight years. The wife of Jawed Bhatti fears that he was picked up by ISI and never returned home when after his job in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. Jawed Bhatti was resident of Nasri Colony, New Karachi, and working as supervisor in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation but never reached home one afternoon of year 2003. The wife of Jawed Bhatti lodged FIR in Police Station for missing of her husband and visited all hospitals of Karachi to look for dead body of Jawed Bhatti but never found it. Keeping in view of political affiliation of Lazar Bhatti, as Vice President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and an active role of Jawed Bhatti in PCC, there were doubts that any establishment agencies have picked up Jawed Bhatti and kept him under illegal detention. Nazir Bhatti said “I have been demanding Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan to take Suo-motto notice of missing Jawed Bhatti and many other Christians but same was neglected” There are more than 25 Christian political activists missing after 2003 but not any court have took notice of these missing persons while their families are knocking every door of law. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti said that Dr. Shakeel Afridi who is blamed to lead to presence of Osama Bin Laden in Abbotabad is also among list of missing persons in Pakistan. There are hundreds of missing Baloch and Christians in Pakistan who are in illegal detention of government agencies and never produced before court of law. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said that Abbotabad Commission has no rights to order any one to charge under any law of state because Commissions can only issue recommendations in light of facts. Dr. Shakeel Afridi was picked up by ISI after US operation to kill Osama Bin laden in Abbotabad on May 2, 2011, but judicial commission formed to investigate Abbotabad incident issued illegal order to probe him under treason. Nazir Bhatti said “The Commissions and Supreme Court of Pakistan are not independent in Pakistan but under pressure of Inter-Services Intelligence ISI of Pakistani army to issue orders as directed and Abbotabad Commission have gone beyond powers to seek treason charges against Dr. Shakeel Afridi” Dr. Bhatti said that I must demand ISI to release jawed Bhatti and other Christians who are in missing persons list.
