Karachi: December 29, 2011. (PCP) The Mission and Action for Social Services MASS organized a program at Holy Mary Goth Surjani Town, Karachi, Pakistan, on 22nd December 2011, to distribute the Christmas food gifts to needy peoples.
About Holy Mary Goth: Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan which generate the 70% revenue. Karachi is famous as city of the lights, but in this Karachi city one Christian colony Holy Mary Goth, there is no electricity peoples are living without electricity, the total population is 2000 Christian peoples, including women and children, they are working as a daily wages basis. The literacy rate is 1%. There is a place of church, but there is no any church building.
The Program started with the prayer of Pastor Sarfaraz Lucas, he gave the message on Christmas. Then Raja Yousaf Bhatti (Senior Vice President of MASS), introduced the MASS and its work. After that Mr. Nasir John (Music director of MASS and Gospel Singer) sing a Christmas song, at last Liaquat Munawar Masih (President MASS) addressed the peoples of Holy Mary Goth, and said we are here to share and celebrate the Christmas happiness to our Christian brothers and sisters. Because our Jesus Christ Said,
“And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As i have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34 ) . . ./
Being followers of the Jesus Christ this is our duty to love our brothers and sisters, which needs our help, and also we are very thankful to our brothers who give the donation to MASS.
