Islamabad: December 13, 2011. (PCP) Mr. Julius Salik, former Federal Minister, Nominee for Nobel Peace Prize and Chief of World Minorities Alliance in an open letter to Capital Development Authority Islamabad CDA have demanded to allot residential plots, employment benefits and advance salary to Christian employees on Christmas day as decided in joint meetings in 2008 and onward. In open letter, Mr. J Salik points, Mr. Farkhand Iqbal chairman of CDA, 3 years ago on July 11, 2008, ex-chairman of CDA Kamran Lashari promised to solve the problems of sanitary workers but 3 years has been passed and 3 chairmen of CDA transferred but there is no action on the meeting minutes promised by Mr. kamran lashari. Now in 2012 attention to new chairman Mr. Farkhand Iqbal that remove contract system If there is any personal benefit or they want minority to remain in slavery and discrimination then before handed over new contract then have a glance on the following meeting minutes others wise we reserved Legal right. Remember that on the demand of J.Salik former Federal Minister to Mr. Kamran Lashari, on 11th July 2008 for the betterment of sanitary workers of Contract system, in meeting all officers and the President of PPP Islamabad Mr.Baber Minhas. Shelters •Identification of sites by 18-07-08 D(UP) •Design & Model of shelter by 30-07-08- DDG(MA) ID Cards •List of workers (CDA) by 15-07-08-DDG(MA) •List of contract workers by 11-07-08 •Copy of the agreement of contract by 11-07-08-DDG(MA) Payment through Cheque •To start 11-08-08-DDG(MA) •Private Contract (06sectors) expiry 15-11-08 •Notice for improvement to be issued, contract renewal subject to improvement to be assessed by the Chairman CDA. Machinery& maintenance •Presentation with details by DDG(MA) Bin Bays •Models to be shown by DDG(MA) Next meeting on 30-07-08 On Last Eid-ul-azha special duties of contract employees as the CDA’s confirm employees to remove wastages of animals. Pay them for their extra duty On the Christmas also grant extra Salaries to these employees like confirm employees. CDA •Allots residential plots to it’s confirm employees also allot to its contract employees. •If in contract system duty timings 8hrs if exceed duty timing then pay Overtime to workers •Sunday holiday is confirmed by government in case of emergency assign duties then pay them for their extra work •Recently fir employees that were working with CDA contract system past 14 years regular them on their duties •In CDA hospital CDA provide Medical facility to employees of CDA also allow medical facility to contract employees and women allow Maternity leave •Inspector supervisor Kuli Drivers in all contract system sanitary workers should be permanent •16 years contract system staffs of sanitation workers also convert in to confirm employees of CDA. •Pay for the work during public holidays. •Chief Inspector CDA during checking attendance also brings attendance register and maintains attendance with CDA because CDA pay salary for every staff worker of sanitation
