LARKANA: December 9, 2011. (Nazir Siyal) On the directives of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and MNA Faryal Talpur, the Sub-Committee of Standing Committee on Communication consisting on MNAs headed by Ramesh Lal MNA emphasized on the NHA officials to complete road schemes before death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto here at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. Speaking to the press conference here on Friday, MNA Ramesh Lal, MNA Muhibullah Jan, MNA Rai Mujtaba Kharl and MNA Majeed Khan along with National Highway Authority member Aurangzeb Khan have stressed NHA officials to ensure the quality of the work any kind of slackness in this regard will not be tolerated at any cost. He said under the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari the Larkana Development Package, (LDP) especially Moen Jo Daro to Larkana Raod may be completed on war footing basis and will be ensured quality of the work he said. MNA Ramesh Lal ensure the quality of the work and said that under Larkana development package (LDP) work on Moen-jo-Daro to Larkana Road, Larkana to Naudero Road, Naudero to Lakhi Ghulam Shah Road, Larkana to Kamber Road, Kamber to Shahdadkot Road, Larkana to Rasheed Wagan Road is in full Swing which will be completed in time. General Manage NHA Abdul Aziz Langah and Nazir Hussain Bhayo informed that under Larkana Development package Rs. 1.6 billion disbursed to the executing agencies, while 275 km roads are under construction and internal Road of Larkana city already completed Aziz told. They also told that the 3-4 gaps from Lakhi Ghulam Shah to Larkana via Naudero will also be discussed and will be completed which is 53 Kilometers road by December 25, 2011. It is pertinent to be mentioned here that due to heavy corruption and ill planning development work could not be completed and all the road schemes of LDP in district still in doldrums after spent of billions of amount. On the occasion, the sub committee of MNAs said the the present government was giving priority to LDP scheme in order to provide facilities to common men at grass root level. Before this, in a meeting the members of the committee included MNA Ramesh Lal, Captain (Retd) Rai Ghulam Mujtaba Khural, Abdul Majeed Khan Khail, Dr. Darshan Lal and Mahboobullah Jan reviewed and discussed the progress of reconstruction of Roads form Larkana to Moen jo Daro, Lakhi Ghulam Shah to Naudero, Ratodero to Naudero, Larkana to Kamber, Kamber to Shahdadkot, Larkana to Naseerabad via Rasheed wagan. During the meeting Convener of the Committee Ramesh Lal has said that Chairman NHA was promised with the federal government that the above road schemes will be completed by December 2011, but they are not sure to fulfill his promised in this regard. On the occasion, he expressed his dissatisfaction on the on going work being carried out on above Road Schemes. Ramesh Lal said that in the dictator rule this area was totally ignored for providing development schemes but the present Government has approved billions of Rupees for completing the development schemes for the benefit people of the area and he also expressed his serious concern that the officers officials of NHA were not taking interest for completion the Road Schemes, so that the bad name of the Present Government may come in the minds of the people of the area. He also said that the Present Awami Government has determined to serve the people without any discrimination, in every development schemes the funds are being released accordingly but the delay methods are being done in this regard; he also said that the detail report in this regard will also be presented before the President of Pakistan. On the occasion, Ramesh Lal directed NHA officers that the construction work of Larkana to Moen jo Daro Road, Larkana to Kamber Road may be completed before 27th December 2011, otherwise the sever action will be taken against NHA officials he said. Ramesh Lal along with General Manager NHA Abdul Aziz Langah and members of the committee visited the ongoing construction work of Larkana to Moen-Jo- Daro road, Larkana to Kamber road, during his visits he also visited the National Press Club Bakrani where President of the Press Club Khuda Bux Larik welcomed him. On the occasion G.M NHA Abdul Aziz langah, Director NHA Muhammad Sultan Abro, Project Director Bisharat, Project Director Noor Mustafa, Project Director Asif Masood Memon and members of the committee were accompanied with Ramesh Lal.
