Karachi: November 25, 2011. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have said that comments of Mr. Arif Alvi, Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf PTI, on rally in Karachi on Christmas Day that PTI can provide buses to Christians for their religious rituals and for participation in PTI,s Public gathering is very surprising. Nazir Bhatti said that Christians are sons of soil and from centuries are celebrating Christmas Day feast in subcontinent of India and in Pakistan after 1947, but have not asked any Muslim political party or government of Pakistan to provide them buses to reach their worship places. Pakistan Tehreek Insaf PTI is a party headed by a person known as Imran Khan who is famous for collection donations for construction of one Hospital in Pakistan, but now from where PTI have got funds that suddenly its Secretary general offers Christians to provide them buses for Christmas Day and for PTI rally. Nazir Bhatti said that Pakistani Christians are fully aware that Imran Khan is not a moderate Muslim as he expresses support for Taliban, banned outfits in Pakistan and implementation of Strict Sharia law. Imran Khan never clarified his position on Blasphemy law, Hadood Ordinance, Law of Evidence and Compensation, Election system for Christians, 13% representation of minorities in National Assembly, Senate and other democratic institutions of Pakistan. Then how Mr. Alvi or Imran Khan think that Pakistani Christians will join his PTI nor will participate in his gatherings. Nazir Bhatti said that PCC appeals to Christians to boycott Imran Khan and his PTI and demand an apology from Arif Alvi on his ill and insulting comments for Christians and Christmas Day.
