LARKANA: November 23, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Another Doctor along with his driver was kidnapped during a polio drive near Larkana yesterday evening, while already two Doctors are in the clutches of dacoits Chandka Doctors Forum held separate protests for the recovery of abducted doctors. According to details, Dr. Abdul Rab Sangi, the Incharge Basic Health Unit BHU, Sajan Sangi along with his driver Wajid Ali Sangi kidnapped by unknown armed after end his BHU duty of polio campaign; they were kidnapped near Areja village Larkana. PMA wings, Chandka Doctors Association, Peoples Doctors Forum district Larkana led by Dr. Shoukat Abro, Dr. Gulab Morio, Dr. Iqbal Jagirani and others strongly condemned the abduction of Dr. Abdul Rab Sangi and his driver and demanded the safe recovery and protection to doctors, Paramedics. Protesting Doctors told media men that Dr. Abdul Rab has been abducted by unknown armed men during his anti-polio drive in villages near Larkana, while already three days back Dr. Imtiaz Wagan and Dr. Azhar Shah were also kidnapped heading towards Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Sukkur from Jacobabad, but police have failed to recover and any clue for recovery of kidnapped doctors. Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) district Larkana, Chandka teachers Association (CTA) led by Dr. Afsar Bhutto, Dr. Akbar Soomro, Dr. Zulifqar Rahojo, Dr. Manzoor Phulpoto and others observed protest and continued the boycott of their duties at CMC hospital Larkana for recovery of abducted doctors. They further demanded of DIG Larkana and concerned SSP to take action for safe recovery of kidnapped doctors otherwise they will continue their boycott and protest. Meanwhile, a Teacher injured by armed men while offering resistance during snatching motorcycle near passport office here on Wednesday. According to report, 4 unknown armed men intercepted motorcyclist teacher Zulfiqar Ali Janvri near passport office and attempted to snatch motorcycle on his resistance, armed men hit him with buts of pistils and injured badly in the jurisdiction of Waleed Police Station, armed men managed to escape from scene.
