LARKANA: October 31, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Chairman Sindh National Front (SNF), Nawab Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, has congratulated the Shahbaz Sharif and Imran Khan on their historic public meetings against corrupt government, said they have proved that people of Punjab are no longer willing to tolerate Zardari’s corrupt and harmful government.
In a press statement issued here on Monday, Mumtaz Bhutto urged both the leaders to mobilize the public to remove corrupt government of Zardari and his allies. He said it is a worth remembering that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s opponents, had strong political differences each other’s, they united to form PNA on one point agenda of dislodging Shaheed Bhutto.
SNF Leader recalled that the similarly, MRD was formed by opponents, which was the same PNA along with the PPP and said if such staunch opponents can form alliances to achieve specific objectives, then why not PML (N) and PTI to work together to rid off the country from a corrupt and incompetent government SNF leader said.
He further said it is quite visible that the people of Punjab are on the march but other province, if the people of Sindh also do not rise up for their rights and protect their soil, then they will remain in a state of servitude, further added that which will even worse than being subject of British colonial masters in whose time loot and plunder of the state was nowhere near what it is now and much more development works were done.
Mumtaz Bhutto said these two big public meetings in Lahore, was a momentum of change and enthusiasm among them but in the rally of Karachi by the government allies, they were seated at the banquet of ‘reconciliation’ was also a big, but since the people appeared to have been dragged and lack of interest, adding that they were not visibly charged and fervor obvious in the Lahore public gatherings he said.
