LARKANA: October 18, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Federal Minister for Communication Dr Arbab Alamgir Visited the Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and laid floral Wreath on mazar of Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and founder PPP Shaheed Zuliqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto and offered Fateha of departed souls. He was accompanied by Secretary Communication, GM NHA and Local PPP Leaders. Meanwhile, he met with protesting Lady Health Workers at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and inquired their problems he assured them that he will take up their issue to higher authorities for resolution. Before this, Federal Minister for Communication visited various development schemes of Larkana Development package. Meanwhile, hundreds of Lady Health Workers of deferent cities observed protest demonstration and staged sit in outside the Mazar of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto against the non-provision of 10 manth sallaries here on Monday. On the occasion, protesting lady health workers were carrying the banners and placards inscribed slogans demanding regularization and releasing of withheld salaries, enraged protestors also shouted slogans against the concerned authorities. On the occasion, Bushra Ansari ,Reshma Langah, Nighat Unar, Rukhsana Pirzado, Shahida Chachar, Saima and others talking to media men said Present government had made promise to regularize the lady health workers but rulers did not fulfill their promise instead of resolving the issue they have stopped the salaries of 10 month which is injustice. They said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had introduced the lady health program to empower the women folk but Present PPP government has discontinued the program of their party leader , on the occasion Leady Health Workers announced to boycott the upcoming national EPI program and Polio campaign.
