LARKANA: August 8, 2011. (Nazir Siyal) Province wide protests and resentment among the people in every district against the present government on restoration of commissionerate system in Karachi and Hyderabad only, which is a practical division of Sindh.
On Sunday, a Large number of activists of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STPP), Sindhi Adabi Sangat (SAS) Sindh, social and cultural organizations, media and civil society staged protest demonstrations here in various parts of Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Ratodero, Mirokhan, Dokri, Badah, Bakrani, Warrah and several cities.
On the occasion, the activists sit in at different Chowks and burnt tyers against the anti Sindh decision, after the announcement of restoration of commissionerate system in Karachi and Hyderabad only,
On the occasion hundreds party leaders and workers carrying party flags, banners shouted the slogans of Jeay Sindh and set the tyres on fire in protest.
On the occasion, General Secretary STPP Ahmed Nawaz Brohi, JSQM Athar Soomro and others said that history will never pardon to PPP rulers on betraying the motherland, they said two separate systems cannot be reinforced in one province. It is well organized conspiracy to divide the Sindh into two parts.
Local leaders of civil society and nationalists stated that Pakistan Peoples Party has dishonored the mandate of Sindh People to save its government, but the Sindhi nation will resist and fight on every front for the rights of Sindh. They said it is the matter of life and death for Sindh people they will safeguard their motherland at any cost.
They announced that Nationalists Organizations and civil society will stage sit-in and cordoned off the residence of Provincial Ministers, elected representatives, PPP leaders and MQM from 8th August 2011.
On the occasion, G. M Abro, Muzafar Sandano, Sadoro Khan Jatoi, Mujahid Dayo, Manthar Mughari, Mansoor Soomro and several others were present.
