LARKANA: July 25, 2011. (Nazir Siyal)The Sindh Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Ayaz Soomro has urged upon the Doctors of Chandka Medical College (CMC) Teaching Hospital Larkana to serve ailing humanity by providing free treatment to all patients, this he said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of renovated Neurology Ward at CMC Hospital Larkana on Sunday. He also appreciated the efforts of the Doctors of CMC Hospital, who are serving to the patients with dedication and said that an amount of Rs. one billion has been approved by the Government of Sindh for SMBBMU. He announced that the funds have been approved current budget 2011-12 for Health Sector, added that the CMC is the landmark of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and SMBBMU is also the gift in the name of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Law Minister said the demands of CMC Hospital will be met, so that this would be approved in the interest of poor people of the area. He said the Nursing School and Dental College was inaugurated by President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, the required funds in this regard were released through Higher Education Commission (HEC). He also directed PPP wing Peoples Doctors Forum (PDF) to play its role by arranging medical camps and provide free treatment to the patients at their door step. The Minister also said that Larkana was over looked in the time of dictators and no any development was made in previous government, on the occasion announced that the Transformers 100 K.V will be provided to the CMC Hospital with in three days to meet the electric requirement. He said that to serve the ailing humanity is not less than worship and it is our faith to serve the poor at any cost, he said Shaheed Leaders also gave great sacrifice of their lives for the rights of poor people and restoration of democracy in the country. He said that for the establishment of Lawyers Colony at Larkana an amount of Rs. 100 million were released by local administration and in this regard work will started very soon. He also said that the remaining upper portion of Press Club Larkana will be constructed and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Journalists Colony in Larkana will also be established very soon. On the occasion MS CMC Hospital Larkana Dr. Zulfiqar Siyal also spoke and welcome the Chief Guest, he informed that all possible facilities are available for the patients as well as Thalasemia Center is working in the CMC hospital, while ICU will be established very soon he said. Besides, the Ultrasound facilities and three times meal are being provided to the patients regularly, during an emergency 500 patients should treated free of cost and he hoped that in hospital facilities will be provided to all patients on equal like Agha Khan Hospital. On the occasion Deputy Commissioner Larkana Asadullah Abro, Principal Chandka Medical College Dr. Asadullah Mahar, Suhail Anwar Siyal, Dr. Alam Ibrahim Siddiqui, Dr. Hakim Ali Abro, Dr. Amanullah Jokhio and large number of Doctors, Party leaders and workers were present.
