LARKANA: July 23, 2011. (Nazir Siyal) Chairperson Pakistan Peoples Party (Shaheed Bhutto) Ghinwa Bhutto has said that the present rulers were protecting the interest of foreign power elements among US and its allies to occupy on the resources of country, she said while addressing the party gathering and delegations, here at Al-Murtaza house on Saturday.
Ghinwa Bhutto said the present government of Asif Ali Zardari is not following the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto but befooling the masses by his failure policies she said.
She said the present rulers forgotten the originally serving by the slogan Roti, Kapra aur Makan and compelling to face starvation, unemployment, poverty, lawlessness and others.
The rulers are protecting the interests of bureaucrats, feudal, capitalists and other criminals by violating the rules and constitutions of Pakistan; she said the profitable institutions of country are badly affected by the policies of PPP government and criticized the Present national policies.
On the occasion, Provincial secretary general Innayat Umrani, Bangul Channa, Khadim Hussain Qadri, Innamullah Narejo, Dr. Saqib Shaikh and others were present.
Meanwhile, the Larkana administration had incorporated several schemes for beautification by making green and clean Larkana, Neem Tree Plantation, establishment of Parks with millions of rupees were allocated and utilized budget but there is no any significant outcome of all these schemes including green belt, which is turned from green to mud grey.
All the District Coordination Officers (DCOs) and concerned department in past planned all these and earmarked millions of funds, like wise current Safari Park proposal on 100 acres land identified for the park have been floated with consultation of MNA Faryal Talpur and further moved to the concerned authorities said the sources.
In Larkana several mega projects were introduced and allocated millions of rupees including Rs. 53.601 million on Neem Tree Plantations but there is no visible result, despite of spending Rs. 17129500 within 5 months and only paper work is being carried out by the then DCO now Commissioner and Forest Department/Agriculture department officials.
While in Larkana, Rs. 8 million was approved and released for the green belt on Rice Canal regulator to the New Bus Terminal, but all the funds went in vain, such green belt deserted look and cattle’s are placed throughout.
Simultaneously, a huge fund Rs. 19 million was also utilized for the beautification of Larkana to keep it “green and clean Larkana” during district government but these schemes yielded no fruitful result and befooled the citizens by the concerned authorities.
It is astonishingly that the Agriculture Department received seed of wheat worth of millions of rupees for the formers and growers of flood affected areas but all were sold in local market as wheat and fertilizer sold at additional charges.
It is pertinent to be mentioned here that Rs. 20 billion mega project under the Larkana Development package was introduced by the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, but all roads are in doldrums including Larkana to Moen-Jo-Daro dual way carriage road, Qamber-Shahdadkot road, Larkana to Lakhi dual way carriage road and particularly Larkana city was ruined in the name of development.
The dwellers and traders of city sustained loss of billions of rupees their properties due to 3 feet layer was high than their residential, businesses and offices throughout. During the project a high level corruption was witnessed and no consultants were hired for this project at all.
