26th death anniversary of Shaheed Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto observed

LARKANA: July 18, 2011 (Nazir Siyal) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Peoples Party (Shaheed Bhutto) observed separate 26th death anniversary of Shaheed Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto here at Al-Murtaza House Larkana and Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto here on Monday. Ruling PPP workers and leaders arranged Quran Khuwani at the Mazars of Shuhada and distributed Lunger among the devotees/followers. Sindh Minister for Law and parliamentary affairs Muhammad Ayaz Soomro along with PPP Leaders arrived at mausoleum of Bhutto family and offered Fateha the grave of Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto and others. On the occasion, Sindh Law Minister and Prseident PPP district Larkana M. Ayaz Soomro said that Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto was a revolutionary leader like his father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and he also sacrificed his life for the democracy. Talking to the media men, he said the commissionerate system in Sindh has been restored with ordinance passed in Sindh Assembly, which is also issued he said. He said 20 grade Officers will be appointed as Commissioner, while 18 and 19 grade Officers will be appointed as Deputy Commissioner in the districts on Merit throughout Sindh Province. He said that the doors are open for the dialogues with the leaders of political parties and present Government wants to take onboard all political forces to strengthen the democratic system in the country. PPP is serving the people without any discrimination by providing mutual opportunities for the poor and middle class. Replying to another question about the appointment of new Governor of Sindh, Minister said President Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari who will appoint any one for the post of Governor. On the occasion a large number of growers’ delegation of Abadgars from Qubo Saeed Khan complained against XEN Munwer Bozdar on water shortage and artificial scarcity, while selling water. They also complained against the Irrigation water shortage in Saifullah Magsi Canal and closure of canals and breaches. Provincial Minister on the occasion assured all of them and directed to Secretary Irrigation and Chief Engineer Irrigation and to resolve the Irrigation water problem of the Abadgars of Qubo saeed Khan on urgent need basis. Earlier the Sindh law Minister visited Naudero Hospital where he enquired about the murder of Late Aftab Bhutto and saw the dead body and sympathized with the relatives of deceased and he was informed that the Late Aftab Bhutto was murdered by his brother over the land dispute at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. PPP Leader Khair Muhammad Sheikh, Abdul Fattah Bhutto, Aijaz Laghari and other party leaders and workers were accompanied with him. Dr. Shafqat Soomro, Ghulamullah Mahoto, Abdul Fattah Bhutto, A.D Bhutto, Aijaz laghari, Noor-ul-Din Abro, Asghar Sheikh, Ghani Jatoi and large number of Party leaders and workers also attended the anniversary program.
