Baloch women support freedom struggle of Balochistan

Washington DC: July 17, 2011. (By Ahmar Mustikhan) Baloch nation supports freedom fighters of B.L.A. (Baloch Liberation Army), B.L.F. (Baloch Liberation Front), B.U.L.F. (Baloch United Liberation Front) and B.R.A. (Baloch Republican Army),a teleconference organized in Washington DC heard last week. Two Baloch heroines, who spoke at the teleconference, described Balochistan as a “battlefield” and “occupied territory” and urged the international community that freedom is a basic right of the Baloch people. The two heroines, Banuk Meher Jan Baloch of the Baloch Women's Panel and Banuk Farzana Majeed of the Baloch Students Organization Azad were speaking from Khuzdar and Quetta respectively at “Teleconference: American Women for Balochistan Independence” organized by the pro-independence American Friends of Balochistan in Washington DC. The two Baloch women activists joined renowned Norwegian lawyer Randi Hagen Spydevold, Washington DC freedom writer Kimberly Crichton and American Friends of Balochistan leaders Laurie Deamer and Jane Weisner in the teleconference to express their anguish over the ongoing genocide in their homeland which they described as Occupied Territory. “Every day four to five bodies are being found in Balochistan,” Meher Jan Baloch said, adding the victims were brutally tortured by M.I. (Military Intelligence) and I.S.I. (Inter-Services Intelligence).”
