LARKANA: June 20, 2011. (Nazir Siyal) President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari along with his daughter Bakhtawer Bhutto Zardari, Chief Minister of Sindh Sayed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Minister for local Government Agha Siraj Khan Durani reached Garhi Khuda Bux by helicopter, offered Fateha and laid floral wreaths on the graves of his spouse Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and recited the holy Quran and stay some time on the occasion. President Asif Ali Zardari also offered Fateha on the graves of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and others Bhutto family. During his visit strict security measures were taken and hundreds of police and Rangers personals were deployed at various corners of Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero road leading to the Larkana and Sukkur. It was reported earlier “The 58th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chairperson PPP Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto would be marked in a befitting manner here at different locations including Larkana, Nauderio, Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on June 21st. On the occasion, ceremonies would be organized by ‘Quran Khawani’ offering Fateha and Blood donation camps organized at Larkana, Naudero and Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, while Lunger also will be distributed among the devotees at early morning. President Asif Ali Zardari along with his daughter Asfia Bhutto Zardari, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, MNA Faryal Talpur and other senior PPP Leaders and workers will cut 58 pound cake at Naudero House. Besides, President Asif Ali Zardari will also donate his blood to pay tribute to slain PPP leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. The President will also lay stone foundation of Dental College Larkana and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Larkana on the day. Meanwhile, the Peoples Doctors Forum (PDF) Larkana chapter has established four blood donation camps at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, Naudero, Ratodero, and Dokri. On the directives of President of Pakistan donated blood bags will be provided to Thaelaesemia needy patients and injured military personals and police Jawans. While Medical Superintendent CMC Hospital Larkana has set up two blood collection camps at PPP district secretariat Kennedy Market Larkana opposite central lab CMC Hospital, so far 800 blood donated bottles have been collected health officials told.
