Washington DC: May 16, 2011. (PCP) After last week's church attacks by Muslims where there were no arrests, Christian Copts formed a peaceful sit-in in front of the Masbero Building (the Egyptian TV building) announcing they would disperse once the authorities arrested those who were involved in the church attacks of Saturday, May 7th which resulted in the death of twelve Copts and the injury of at least two hundred thirty-two others as well as the burning of two churches in Embaba, Northeast of Cairo. As per an eyewitness, around 5:30 p.m. local time four Muslims riding motorcycles tried to speed through the crowd of protestors when protestors halted them and informed them that they were not allowed to be on motorbikes. At which time, the aggressors left their bikes carrying sticks and other weapons and began to attack the protestors. A total of at least twenty-three Copts were injured; one by gun shot, fifteen others with broken arms and legs, and many others with less serious injuries. The army arrived after one-half hour of leaving protestors alone to defend themselves. Within the same time frame, the ambulance also arrived.
