Sialkot: May 16, 2011. (PCP) It was feared from decades that Christian businessmen will be prime target of blasphemy law on business rivalry by Muslim when third case of blasphemy was registered in Pakistan against a Christian Bangle Trader in Karachi in 1989. The first case was registered against a Christian convert Teacher in Lahore who was poisoned to death in Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore. The recent case against Christian Businessman in Sialkot have spread fear among Christians after April 2011, attacks on Church and Seminary by Muslim mob on pretext to blasphemy in Gujranwala which is thirty miles from Sialkot. The Gujranwala blasphemy case against a Christian Father and his Son on burning pages of Holy Quran on April 15, 2011, spread such a fear that dozens of Christian families took refuge with their relatives and friends in city of Sialkot. This case under blasphemy is against Gulzar Masih who owns a Book Store in Drumman Wala Chowk (Urdu Bazar) Sialkot. He has 6 Children 2 sons (married) and four daughters(3-married) and his wife has been died. His living standard is well than others and he has his own 5 shops priced 3-4 Crores rupees Pakistani. Two weeks ago, an incidents was occurred that Abdul Rauf blamed on Gulzar that he has burnt the Quran pages and thrown out on the dirty road. Mohammad Rauf called the Mullahas and gathered them and started shouting that Gulzar Masih have committed blasphemy. The Kotwali Police Station Sialkot have registered case against Gulzar Masih under Section 295 B and C PPC.
